I know that title is silly. Trust me, I know. The teapot I am featuring today is blue and that was the first thing that came to mind. Oh….maybe I should have thought a little longer and come up with a better title? Perhaps but this past week has left me feeling a little bit disoriented and crazed so bear with me, please.
Today’s teapot was yet another Marshall’s find. I am telling you that it is my favorite place to shop and find amazing things including teapots. I never pay more than $8 to $13 for them and they always have some really pretty and fun ones. So today’s blue teapot is a little classy and a little sassy at the same time.
“Feelings, whether of compassion or irritation, should be welcomed, recognized, and treated on an absolutely equal basis; because both are ourselves. The tangerine I am eating is me. The mustard greens I am planting are me. I plant with all my heart and mind. I clean this teapot with the kind of attention I would have were I giving the baby Buddha or Jesus a bath. Nothing should be treated more carefully than anything else. In mindfulness, compassion, irritation, mustard green plant, and teapot are all sacred.”

Leave a commentOh, that is sweet! I just love Marshall’s ( and not just because of the name!). And T.J. Maxx….and Homegoods….!
They are wonderful, aren’t they? I loved this teapot—it is really classy looking and such a fun shape.
That’s a Pretty teapot! I should give Marshall’s a try sometime.
Oh Suzy–you definitely should. They always have amazing kitchen things, gadgets, pots and pans, etc. Even gourmet food items. I bet you would LOVE them!
I do love the design and style of this teapot.
I think is very regal and classy! It looks like something the queen would use! I like her!
I really like this little pot — such a good find, Beth Ann! It’s as you say, classy and sassy at the same time!
I love Marshalls too. I really like this teapot as well 🙂
I love this pattern! And the quote is pretty great as well: “Feelings, whether of compassion or irritation, should be welcomed, recognized, and treated on an absolutely equal basis; because both are ourselves.”
I really like it but I already have several teapots so I don’t need another (I know, it isn’t a question of ‘need’!).
Classy and sassy is right!!
I wanted to mention that I Love the Thích Nhất Hạnh quote. You always seem to find the perfect quote for me to keep in mind. 🙂
