Third Week of Advent Brings JOY!

7 Comments/ 190/ 0

Just reading that word brings a smile to my face.

Joy comes in all shapes and sizes, doesn’t it?

Joy is the feeling of pleasure or happiness.

When was the last time you witnessed or experienced true joy? I hope that the answer to that question is that you experience it daily because I believe that is how God created us.  I truly believe that we are created to bring joy and happiness to one another.

During this time of year I think it is easy to witness joy especially on the faces of children as they anticipate the wonders of Christmas time.  All of the twinkling lights, bright decorations and happy Christmas music bring joy to even the most hardened of hearts.

Joy is all around us. Each and every day we can witness and be a part of joy if we just take the time and make the effort to acknowledge it. Look for joy today. I would love to hear what you found so feel free to leave me a comment and Comment for a Cause – Conserving Carolina.

Please enJOY the video.

Joy for me is waking up to a brand new day!
I’m also joyful because I’m on vacation with some of my family.
    And Christmas is coming!

Love watching Christmas through the eyes of children. We all need to be as awe struck as them.

Yes, joy! But not just at Christmas time.

In his sermon this week our pastor noted that biblical Joy is not an emotion.
Joy is knowing that in spite of the difficulties life brings God is in control. This year I was diagnosed with MS. Lots of waiting, tests, scans, tears, wondering, and did I mention waiting? But never once have I lost my Joy. I’ve been sad and have felt defeated. But the thing about true Joy is that although it may get temporarily buried by the garbage life throws at us, as long as we believe that God’s got this, the Joy He provides is way brighter and way stronger than any emotion we have. Joy to the World ❤️
