Oh, I didn’t think it was a deformity… you know how they sometimes tuck a foot up or I was trying to see if she/he was paddling. I am glad it didn’t slow her down, but has to be tough walking around. He/she is a beautiful/handsome bird… 🙂
I think you would have loved this campus as well. Very well tended and little pockets of beauty all over the place. We really enjoyed our afternoon there.

Yep–I watched this one for awhile and even on land it was tucked up so pretty sure it was a birth defect or something but sure was pretty!
Oh gosh, I didn’t even notice that foot till “under the oaks” mentioned it. Is that normal in that position?
No it was some kind of deformity but it seemed unhindered by it.
