Advent Teas

11 Comments/ 176/ 1

I shared earlier that I got an Advent Tea Calendar from Adagio Tea and I am loving it. Not every day is my favorite blend but I am discovering that I can manage to drink a cup that may not normally be one that I choose for myself.

So far these are the teas I have enjoyed thanks to the daily ritual of opening a little flap to reveal the tea of the day.

My favorite out of this bunch was the first one – Blueberry White. It is not one I would have chosen for myself most likely ( I am more of a black tea gal) but this one was perfectly refreshing. I have tried to make a set time each afternoon to enjoy my cup of tea and chill out and it has become a really nice ritual so far.

What are you doing this December to keep things calm and in perspective? Are you taking time for yourself? Do it. You deserve it.

These all look great! My favourite would be the Candy Apple and Cranberry teas. I make sure I sit outside in the sun and read for an hour. I don´t often do that at this time of year. Oh, and have a cup of tea! Enjoy these lovely teas.

I always forget to order myself an advent tea calendar. One of these days I will remember. I do have my evening cup of Rooibus everyday and sit down with it to wind down.

Next year I will remind you or better yet–order one for you! I gave one to my niece and one to my sister this year and we have been having fun comparing our likes and dislikes. There are a lot of green teas and blends so far in this one and I am wanting more black tea!

Good morning from snowy southern Minnesota!

That blueberry tea sounds really good. I’ve been writing Christmas cards, which is a way to escape. Also reading, lots of reading.

Good for you and your Christmas card writing. I have them but haven’t done them yet. This week is cookie baking I think now that we are decorated. 🙂

A tea advent calendar sounds wonderful for you. To have favors you had not tried is fun.

I think I’d like the blueberry one too. Enjoy each day as it comes — that’s been my motto lately.

The blueberry one was pretty good –not too strongly flavored but just right.
